Crafting Outdoor Cushion Covers. In June I walked door-to-door to businesses throughout my town with flyers and posters about National Alzheimer`s Awareness month. This gave me a wonderful opportunity to meet and chat with hundreds of people, share information about this treacherous disease, and check out the contents of stores and shops that I had never visited before. It was interesting, enlightening, and fun.
Glider Rocker Cushions. Old and worn glider rocker cushions - you know what they look like. The spills, the tears, the stains. Age can really take what used to be beautiful, comfortable glider cushions and turn them into an embarrassment. You move the chair from the sitting room to the den because it is starting to look bad. Then you move it from the den to the bedroom because the cushion is torn and you don`t want people to see it. Finally you take it from your room and just put it in the garage because you are even tired of looking at it!
Step One: Defining your space. What type of space are you looking for? What will its purpose be? Are you looking for a quiet spa like getaway or a spiritual retreat? Do you want your outdoor space to be an ultra comfortable place with lots of lush patio chair cushions where you can entertain or a location that is designed just for you? Take a moment to decide the purpose of your space.
Why do away with a perfectly good glider rocker when all it really needs is a face-lift? Save yourself several hundred dollars and just buy a new set of glider rocker cushions instead. Here are some of the best glider rocker cushions that are available online.
Do you want a separate area to dine and a separate sitting area? Will you need to pour a patio? This is the time to make these decisions. There is a large trend to build expansive decks for dining and entertaining. However, this doesn`t mean that you have to spend a lot of money. Rocks or mulch can be used to create a separate space. Stepping stones can be placed to create a path to and from the seating area. Keep in mind that you probably don`t want you segmented space within your yard to take up more than a third of the space. This means that if you have 300 square feet of yard space, you`ll want to designate only 100 square feet of it to a patio, deck or other type of material.
